Javier Oliva, JD

Javier Oliva, JD is the Politics and Law program coordinator for UT San Antonio and a Professor of Instruction of Political Science and Legal Studies. His areas of concentration are American Law, Courts and Politics, Legal Studies (including Legal Research and Writing) and law school preparation and education.

Oliva is a licensed attorney and has practiced law since 1991. He consults in the areas of Business Law, Criminal law, Family law School Law and Wills and Probate

Oliva earned his JD from St, Mary’s University School of Law and has a Master of Science in Public Administration from St. Mary’s University Graduate School. He earned a BA in Government from the University of Notre Dame.
