Dr. Rita Mitra
Rita Mitra, D.M.A. is a Professor of practice in the Information Systems and Cyber Security Department and the director of Online Programs in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UTSA. She teaches and develops Computer Science and Cybersecurity courses for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Cyber Security. She is the faculty advisor for the Online Cyber Security Association (OCSA) and the Women in Cybersecurity at UTSA (WiCyS) student organizations. Dr. Mitra has a B.A. from Texas Tech and a M.S. in Computer Science from New York University. Prior to working in cybersecurity, she earned a Doctor of Musical Arts from Manhattan School of Music.
