You’re not alone. You are part of the Roadrunner community now!

Mentor Collective

The UTSA Online Roadrunner Mentors Program, using the Mentor Collective platform, allows students to enhance their leadership abilities, share their experiences, and welcome new students into the online learning environment. Mentors and mentees engage in check-ins through various communication channels, including video-chat, text, and email.

How It Works

New incoming UTSA Online Roadrunners are matched with an experienced UTSA Online students based on common interests and goals. Mentors, who were once new online students themselves, can provide insights on academics, online learning strategies, and navigating the UTSA Online community.

Mentors

As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic journey of new online students. This role allows you to share your valuable experiences, develop your leadership skills, and expand your professional network. Mentors play a crucial role in helping mentees navigate the challenges of online learning and feel connected to the UTSA community.

To become a mentor, you should be a current UTSA Online student in good academic standing. You’ll sign up to be a mentor for one semester at a time, but you can be a mentor for as many semesters as you’d like!
