Rita Mitra, DMA
Rita Mitra, DMA is a Professor of practice in the Information Systems and Cybersecurity Department and the director of Online Programs in the Carlos Alvarez College of Business at UT San Antonio. She teaches and develops Computer Science and Cybersecurity courses for the Bachelor of Business Administration in Cybersecurity. She is the faculty advisor for the Online Cybersecurity Association (OCSA) and the Women in Cybersecurity at UT San Antonio (WiCyS) student organizations. Mitra has a BA from Texas Tech and a MS in Computer Science from New York University. Prior to working in cybersecurity, she earned a Doctor of Musical Arts from Manhattan School of Music.
