Applications are submitted through the UTSA Graduate Application. Please upload all required documents (listed below) on your UTSA Graduate Application. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure completion and submission of the application, a nonrefundable application fee, and all required supporting documents are on file with UTSA by the appropriate application deadline.

  Required Degree Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering, architecture, sciences, business, or other facility management related field or discipline or a bachelor's degree in any other field with 2 years of facility management experience (approved by coordinator).
  Coursework Completed adequate credit hours or foreign institution equivalent coursework as preparation for the program. Students interested in this program who have previous education in non-business fields are encouraged to apply.
  Transcripts* Required from all institutions attended; international transcripts must be recorded/translated to English
  Credential Evaluation Required if you have earned university-level credit from foreign institutions. Submit an evaluation of your transcripts from Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) directly from the graduate admission application platform

The prerequisites for this program are a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, sciences, business, or other facility management related field or discipline. Practicing facility managers with at least two years of experience in facility management and a bachelor’s degree in other fields will also be admitted to the program, with approval of the program coordinator.

To maintain enrollment in the MS in Facility Management program, students should maintain a 3.0 grade point average throughout tenure in the program.

Tuition for the MS in Facility Management online program is $685 per credit hour.

In order to be eligible for Financial Aid, students must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours per semester, but courses may be taken in any combination of terms (16 week term, 1st 8 week term, or 2nd 8 week term) as long as the hours for the total semester equal more than 4.
