Tuition for the Multidisciplinary Studies master’s program is $550 per credit hour.
To be eligible for Financial Aid, you must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 credit hours per semester.
If you’re taking less than 4 credit hours per semester, you can benefit from other payment options available.
Applicants for admission to the Multidisciplinary Studies master’s program must satisfy all University-wide graduate admission requirements. Additional requirements may be required for the specific certificates you choose.
If you choose the online Bilingual Education certificate, you must be able to read, write, and speak in both English and Spanish.
If you choose the Facility Management certificate, you must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture, sciences, business, or other facility management-related fields and disciplines. Practicing facility managers with at least two years’ experience in facility management and a bachelor’s degree in other fields may also be admitted.
Applicants choosing the Data Science certificate may be asked to complete preliminary online coursework on pre-calculus and/or computer science to prepare for some content of that certificate program.
No testing is required. Submission of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is optional.
It typically takes approximately two years to complete the 30 credit hours required for UTSA’s 100% online Multidisciplinary Studies master’s program. You may finish faster by taking a heavier course load, if your personal and professional circumstances permit.
If you have previously completed one of UTSA’s 100% online graduate certificates, you may apply that certificate towards the Multidisciplinary Studies master’s program.
To satisfy the comprehensive examination requirement, candidates for the Multidisciplinary Studies master’s program will be required to complete a course designated from one of the certificate areas selected.
